Join us for the first Edmonton M&A Club Lunch Meeting!

We are pleased to launch the Edmonton chapter of the M&A Club and bring together M&A professionals from across Alberta for an engaging discussion and networking opportunity hosted at Dentons’ Edmonton office in Stantec Tower.

This inaugural meeting is designed to connect dealmakers, lenders, investors, advisors, and transaction professionals from the Edmonton market and beyond. Through high-quality discussions and meaningful networking, the Edmonton chapter aims to foster valuable relationships and contribute to the continued growth of Alberta’s M&A ecosystem.

For this first session, David Murray from Gallagher will lead a discussion on Representation & Warranty Insurance (RWI) and underwriting considerations in M&A transactions. The session will provide practical insights into how RWI is being used in today’s deal environment, key underwriting dynamics, common issues encountered during the process, and how buyers, sellers, and advisors can better navigate transactional risk.

The meeting will begin with lunch and informal networking, followed by the presentation and Q&A session. We will then continue with the M&A Club’s signature roundtable introductions and networking discussions, giving participants the opportunity to share current mandates, priorities, and connect with fellow professionals in the room.
