The M&A Club is pleased to announce the finalists of the 2026 M&A Awards Gala, which will take place on May 13, 2026, at the Windsor in Montréal, marking the 11th edition of this flagship event within Québec’s mergers and acquisitions ecosystem.
Each year, the M&A Awards Gala recognizes professionals, companies, and teams who distinguish themselves through their expertise, rigor, and contributions to the execution of significant transactions in the fields of mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing. The awards highlight transactions completed between January 1, 2025, and January 31, 2026, as well as the outstanding work of the advisors and organizations involved.
The 2026 edition generated remarkable enthusiasm, with a record number of submissions from across the M&A ecosystem. These nominations reflect the dynamism and growing sophistication of Québec’s transaction market.
Following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an independent jury composed of recognized industry professionals, finalists were selected across the 10 Gala categories:
- Transaction of the Year — Law Firm
- Transaction of the Year — Accounting Firm
- Transaction of the Year — Financial Advisor (< $25M)
- Transaction of the Year — Financial Advisor ($25M – $100M)
- Transaction of the Year — Financial Advisor (> $100M)
- Transaction of the Year — Private Equity
- Transaction of the Year — Debt Financing
- Transaction of the Year — Succession / Buyout
- Transaction of the Year — Cross-Border
- Transaction of the Year — JPMA (Young M&A Professionals)
These nominations highlight transformational transactions, bold strategies, and the remarkable work of the teams shaping the evolution of Québec’s dealmaking landscape.
The winners will be revealed during the M&A Awards Gala evening, which will bring together more than 400 professionals from the mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance community to celebrate excellence and innovation in the industry.
