Salim Visram - Dentons Canada LLP

Salim Visram is a Senior Associate at Dentons Canada, practising out of Vancouver, where he advises provincially and federally regulated employers on the full spectrum of employment, pension, and benefits considerations, which includes providing advice in transactional contexts concerning M&A. Called to the bar in Ontario (2018) and British Columbia (2021), Salim brings a sophisticated understanding of both share and asset transactions to his M&A practice, with particular depth in successor employer obligations and pension plan assumptions. He has advised clients across a broad range of industries — including hospitality, technology, retail and consumer goods, transportation and logistics, media and entertainment, and manufacturing — giving him a practical, cross-sector perspective on the human capital issues that can make or break a deal.
