An Evening Where the Best Lessons Come from the Most Memorable Deals

The M&A Club invites you to the inaugural edition of a unique event bringing together the mergers and acquisitions community in an interactive and highly engaging format.

The evening begins with a networking reception at the bar of the St. James's Club, followed by a full-course dinner with an open bar.

Hosted by Marc-André Nantais (Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser) and Ugo Dionne (M&A Club), the evening will feature experienced professionals from across the private equity and M&A ecosystem sharing the most memorable stories from their transactions—whether dramatic, unexpected, or downright entertaining.

The evening concludes with an open mic session, giving attendees the opportunity to raise their hand and share their own stories and hard-earned lessons from mergers and acquisitions.

Some transactions unfold exactly as planned. Others take unexpected turns or present challenges that test everyone involved. Behind these experiences are often the most valuable lessons: unforeseen obstacles, complex negotiations, human dynamics, strategic decisions, and insights that can help others avoid similar pitfalls.
