 Grant has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. He has   managed many divestiture and M&A transactions spanning a broad range of industries, primarily   working with private company owners and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Fort Capital Partners, he   led CIBC’s Mid-Market Investment Banking practice for British Columbia. 

Yashar Farmanara, Partner, Fort Capital Partners

 Yashar has accumulated over a decade of M&A advisory and capital raising experience for mid-   market businesses in Canada and the United States. His M&A advisory experience includes advising   clients both on the buy-side and sell-side of transactions along with debt and equity raises in a range   of industries. Yashar also founded and sold his own private business, allowing him to develop a   unique perspective and connection with business owners going through a divestiture process.
