Kim Thomassin
Executive Vice-President and Head of Québec, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ)
Kim Thomassin As Executive Vice-President and Head of Québec, Kim Thomassin leads CDPQ’s investment strategy in Québec and financing and support activities for me- dium and large companies in the province. She also oversees the Québec investment and operating partner teams. She sits on the Executive Committee and on the Investment-Risk Committee.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Thomassin held the role of Executive Vice-President and Head of Investments in Québec and Stewardship Investing, and prior to that, she served as Executive Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Secretariat. In these roles, she oversaw the Stew- ardship Investing team, which is responsible for factoring ESG criteria into CDPQ’s investment activities and deploying its investment strategy to address climate change.
Ms. Thomassin received a B.C.L./LL.B. from Université Laval and a minor in psychology at McGill University. She also studied at the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law. Ms. Thomassin is a member of the Québec Bar.

Sylvain Corbeil
Senior Vice President, Business Banking Distribution in Québec, Scotiabank
In this role, Sylvain brings over 25 years’ experience in the financial industry and is responsible for driving Scotiabank’s Business Banking growth strategy in Québec.
Prior to joining Scotiabank, Sylvain has held progressively senior roles in corporate banking, including Senior Vice President, Business Banking at TD Bank Group, Vice President, Specialized Groups at National Bank, Head of Finance, Canadian Banking and Vice President, Commercial Banking at RBC.
Sylvain holds a master’s degree in Science with Honors from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He is an active member of the community and he is also the Governor of the Mon- treal Clinical Research Institute.
Viviane Croux
Head, Corporate Finance, Québec, BMO
Viviane Croux is Head of BMO’s Corporate Finance Division in Quebec, a team of professionals which provides companies access to an integrated suite of commercial and capital solutions.
She has close to 25 years of experience in the financial sector, with a unique back- ground, having worked in capital markets, wealth management and commercial banking. Prior to joining the financial sector Viviane worked as an accountant with a major ac- counting firm in Montreal.
Viviane has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and is a Chartered Finan- cial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. She has a Bachelor’s degree from HEC Montreal and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University.
Viviane supports numerous organizations with a focus on supporting children and their families, including Le Phare Enfants et Familles and La Fondation des jeunes de la DPJ.
